Launch X-Prog3, a powerful bench programmer, makes this procedure allows you to transfer all necessary data (EEPROM and FLASH) from the original ECU to a new or donor unit without losing vehicle-specific settings, immobilizer data, or calibration.

First, connect the original ECU to XProg3 and enter the ECU search menu. Select “Direct connection of diagram” to establish the correct pinout. Then read the ECU information, followed by the EEPROM data and FLASH data. After successful reading, disconnect the original ECU.

Next, connect the new ECU, read its information again, then write the previously saved EEPROM and FLASH data. Finally, disconnect the unit. The cloning is complete.
Always verify the data before writing to prevent any issues. This method works perfectly with XProg3 Key Programmer on most Toyota and Lexus models using the Bosch A960eQ ECU
