This step-by-step tutorial shows you how to bind your OBDSTAR tablet to the official mobile app. Once connected, you’ll enjoy smooth integration between the Repair Information software and your smartphone.
The procedure works with all OBDSTAR tablet models, including X300 Classic G3, DC706 ECU Tool, ODO Master, P50, and more.
1. Update Software
Make sure both your OBDSTAR tablet and the OBDSTAR mobile app are updated to the latest version. Updating ensures compatibility and allows you to access all available features.
2. Bind the Device
On your OBDSTAR tablet, open VCI Info → Device QR Code.
On the OBDSTAR mobile app, go to Me → My Device → Device Binding, and grant the app permission to use your camera.
Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on the tablet. The device information will appear on screen—simply tap TO BIND to complete the process.
3. Log in to Repair Information
After binding, open the Repair Information option on your tablet. A login QR code will appear on the screen.
Next, use the OBDSTAR mobile app to scan this login code.
Once the login is successful, you can immediately access all repair data and resources as usual.
