This guide demonstrates how to program all keys lost for a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze using the LAUNCH X431 Key Programmer together with X431 IMMO PLUS via OBD connection. The same procedure is also compatible with X431 IMMO Elite and X431 IMMO PRO.
Step 1. Generate Remote
Connect the tablet to the X431 Key Programmer.
Navigate: Vehicle Remote >> Chevrolet >> All remotes >> CRUZE KeylessGo ID46(433) >> Generate.
Once the burning process completes successfully, the remote is generated.
Step 2. Program New Keys
1. Enter: IMMO >> GM >> Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Automatically Search >> YES >> Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Mechanical Key >> All Key Lost.
2. Make sure all doors are closed and turn the ignition ON.
3. Enter the 4-digit immobilizer password when prompted.
4. Press OK to confirm.
5. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
6. Open and close the door to ensure all electrical systems are off.
7. Insert the key that needs programming and turn ignition ON.
- The current key is now successfully programmed.
- To add another key, press YES and repeat the same steps.
- If no more keys are needed, press NO to finish the matching process.
8. After completing:
- Turn off ignition and remove the key.
- Open and close the door again.
- Turn ignition ON → OFF → ON.
At this point, the programmed key count is displayed (e.g., 2 keys).
Program successfully completed.
