After adding new keys using ACDP BMW G-series BDC2 Test Platform, we need to learn new keys in cars or we can do it using ACDP platform.
1.How to Learn key in cars?
Put new key close to induction coil and hold down ignition switch for 15 seconds
2.How to Learn key using ACDP BDC2 Test Platform?
Connect BMW BDC2 Platform to BDC2 unit and supply 14v power to platform.
Put new key into coil.
Hold down START button for 15 seconds.
Press START button three times quickly.
The indicator light should turn on.
Press START button three times again.
The indicator light should turn off.
This means our key is successfully programmed.
How to Test Remote?
Connect remote receiver and smart antenna to ACDP Test Platform.
Press LOCK/ UNLOCK button.
If BDC2 relay sounds, remote function works fine.
Press START button three times and indicator should be on.
Press START button three times again and indicator should be off.
This means smart function works fine.
