In this tutorial, Sia will demonstrate how to program a smart key for a 2011 Land Rover Discovery 4 using Lonsdor K518 Pro devices. The process begins by preparing the necessary tools: K518 Pro, an OBD communication cable, an original car key, and a new smart key produced by Launcher.
First, connect the OBD cable and select the option to generate a smart key for Land Rover.
After successful generation, navigate to the immobilizer (IMO) and remote programming menu, then choose “Program Smart Key” for the Discovery 4. The system requires at least two keys, so ensure the original and new keys are ready. Follow on-screen prompts to program the keys one by one.
