CGDI K2 is a multifunctional remote key programmer designed for generating, copying, and renewing vehicle remotes and keys. This guide walks you through the basic setup and core functions to help you get started quickly and efficiently.
Initial Setup
Press and hold the Power button to switch on the device.
Connect the CGDI K2 to a Wi-Fi network to activate the system and perform software or firmware updates.
Log in using your existing CGDI account, or register a new account if required.
Basic Operation
A short press of the Power button turns the screen on or off.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown.
The device will automatically power off when the battery level drops below 5%.
Use a Type-C cable with a 4.5V–5.5V / 1A charger for charging.

Main Functions
1. Generate Wireless Remote
From the home interface, select Remote Generation.
Choose the appropriate vehicle model.
Connect the remote to the device using the programming cable.
Select Wired Generation and confirm to begin the process.
2. Generate Smart Remote
Select the target vehicle model.
Place the CG ZA11 BEN.Z on the device’s induction coil.
Tap Generate Remote and wait until the process is completed.

3. Frequency Detection
Enter Frequency Detection from the main menu.
Select the frequency range and position the remote near the detection area.
Press any button on the remote to detect the signal.
4. Chip Identification
Choose Chip Identification Copy.
Select Auto or Manual detection mode.
Place the key on the coil to read and display chip information.

5. Remote Renew
Navigate to More Functions → Remote Renew.
Choose either soldered or solder-free wiring.
Connect the key using the Unlock Solder-free Cable, confirm the model, and click Renew.

6. MCU Programming
Go to More Functions → MCU Programmer.
Select the vehicle model and follow the wiring diagram provided.
Proceed with MCU reading, writing, or programming as required.
