Xhorse Multi-Prog programmer now offers the ability to read original key data from BMW BDC2/ BDC3/LCD encrypted models.
1.For Unencrypted Hungary BDC3 Keys:
For these keys, Multi-Prog performs a direct read, enabling duplication without additional tools. The following unencrypted BDC3 key types are supported:
2.For Encrypted BMW Keys:
For encrypted models—including BDC2, BDC3 (long chip), and LCD display keys, Multi-Prog reads the original data. This data can then be transferred to Xhorse Key Tool MIDI or VVDI Key Tool Plus to complete the key copying process.
Key Points to Note:
Xhorse Multi Prog serves as a reader only for encrypted BDC2 and BDC3 keys, and it cannot write directly to them.
Reading encrypted BDC2 or BDC3 keys requires a modified MCU adapter.
