The upcoming GODIAG Solder-Free Clip Adapter simplifies NCF29Ax (NXP chip) key cloning. Tested with CGDI K2 Smart Key Tool, it duplicates original keys for Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet, and Land Rover models without soldering.
Required Items
- CGDI K2 Key Tool
- Original Smart Key
- Target Smart Key (New or used original key matching the original frequency)
- Connection Method: GODIAG Solder-Free Clip Adapter (or CGDI K2 Renew Cable if soldering)
Step-by-Step Cloning Process
1. Connect the PCB:
Remove the original key shell to access the circuit board. Attach GODIAG solder-free clip directly to the PCB and connect it to CGDI K2 via the adapter.
Alternative: Solder CGDI K2 Key Unlock Renew Cable directly to the circuit board points.
2. Read Key Data:
Open CGDI K2 App, select Key Adding, and pick your specific key type. Choose the board layout that matches your PCB, tap Start, and click Continue to read the chip data. Save the file when prompted.
3. Write Data:
Connect the target key to CGDI K2, load the saved file, and write the data. The cloned key is now ready.
