Procedure:
Connected via OBD
Two remotes, one working and one not
In Lonsdor K518:
Immobilizer – BMW – select by type – CAS2/CAS3 – program key
Lonsdor will start to make a dealer key to Mini Cooper:
1 this can add one key (select blank position)
2 this can replace the original key (choose non-blank position)
3 this can generate key via OBD or K518 key slot

Lonsdor K518 read out CAS part number and type (it’s CAS3+)
K518 read out vehicle identification number, cas part number, diagnostic code, key tooth code, remote key frequency (315MHz), ignition
Xhorse test the remote
K518ise is reading RAM, for about 1min..
Remove the key from the ignition switch
For a smart key, take it outside the car

Select key 4 and key slot generation
Note: if the car had been programmed but failed, pls unlock the key and restore cas data first
Select remote key
Pull K518 key slot to the right and insert the key to be programmed (to identify if the key is legal and to pre-process key)
Current key is legal
Writing key info
Pls put the generated key into the key slot for 5 sec
If the vehicle cannot be started or direction lock shows on the dashboard, pls synch ELV or DME accordingly
Complete!
