So many adapters are required to connect Autel Elite II to 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 w/3.0 Duramax. And BMW and other modules with gateways needs this for over 10 years with Autel. Any way to directly connect scanners to cars?
This tablet is an older model, the VCI doesn’t communicate with CAN FD, so this bypass is needed to communicate with any CAN FD modules.
Newer model Autel Diagnostic Tools don’t need this setup.
A simple way is to get a newer model that work with CANFD/ DOIP.
Autel scanners that have DOIP and CANFD built into tool or VCI: MX900/ MK900 Series, MS906 PRO/ MK906 PRO Series with VCI200, Elite II PRO, MS909, MS919, Ultra, Ultra Lite…
Or simply buy a VCI200. This supports CANFD and DOIP protocol. It is not expensive.
