VXDIAG VCX SE for Benz features in the super remote diagnostic function. Here will share how to use VCX SE DoNet function for Benz.

Guide to use Benz DoiP VCX SE with DONET:
Step 1: Set personal hotspot
Step 2: Connect VXDIAG VCX SE Benz
Step 3: Run VX Manager
Step 4: Run XENTRY Diagnosis software
Step 1: Set personal hotspot
1.Open “Settings” in the smartphone
2.Select “Other Wireless Connections”-> “Personal hotspot”
3.Turn on “Personal hotspot”
4.Click “Personal hotspot settings”
5.Fill in name and password
Note: The name and password are same, both are “DiagOnNet”. Please pay attention to the upper and lower case letters
6.After setting, save it
Step 2: Connect VXDIAG VCX SE Benz
1.Connect VCX SE main unit to the car
2.You will hear “beep”, then press the [Fn] button for about 3 seconds (which means reset the device)
3.Loosen it, and the WiFi light flashes slowly
4.After the device is connected to the internet, the home page will display device info
5.When it beeps again, it means the WiFi has been connected successfully.
The indicator light also flashes fast
Step 3: Run VX Manager
1.Open VX Manager
2.Click “Remote” and input remote device ID
Note: The device ID can be found at the back of VCX SE Benz
3.Click “Refresh device”
4.After the device is detected, click “Connect device”
The VX manager will restart automatically
5.The device info incl. hardware, firmware, driver, expansion will display on the screen.
6.In “License” menu, the related licenses, last update and expire date and valid days can be found here.
7.Click “Firmware” to check if the device hardware version is the newest.
If it’s not, turn on “Update” button and click “Upgrade” to update it
8.Click “Diagnostic” to check the device driver installation
There is a green tick icon in the upper right of BENZ C6, it means the drive has been installed successfully
9.Close VX Manager
Step 4: Run XENTRY Diagnosis software
1.Open XENTRY Diagnosis software
2.When it appears “DAIMLER” with user name and password input boxes, just click Abort” to continue.
3.Select the car mode you need
e.g passenger car “C (204)”
4.Click “XENTRY Diagnosis” to read vehicle info
It will take 2 or 3 minutes, please be patient.
5.Select “Initial quick test”
6.Click “Continue”
7.Select “Start quick test” at the bottom left of the screen to detect the vehicle module
8.Perform the quick test and save the result automatically
9.Read out the vehicle info and the related fault codes (such as Central gateway (CGW [ZGW])
Then clear fault memory and operate depends on your need.
