Maybe some customers will ask that Thinkcar Pro supports reading codes, why also needs a GODAIG GT100 OBD2 ECU connector to work with.

There are four reasons to choose GODIAG GT100.

Reason 1: GODIAG GT100 can diagnose single ECU and connect easily.

When you want to test single ECU module, Thinkcar Pro (Thinkdiag Mini) cannot connect with single ECU separately.

When do you need to connect with single ECU module?

Sometimes you use Thinkcar pro to diagnose ECU and it may fail to communicate. You don’t know if the ECU module is damaged or the line in the middle is broken. If you don’t have a tool in hand, you need to check the line firstly and suspect ECU. If the ECU also cannot communicate, you need to find a device to connect with it.

Godiag GT100 can solve this problem easily. Just dismantle the ECU from your car, and connect it with GT100 and Thinkcar pro device, and then you can diagnose the ECU quickly.

Reason 2: The indicator light on the GODIAG GT100 will be on when communication.

When you plug Thinkcar pro dongle to the OBD2 port of your vehicle, it cannot diagnose successfully. You will wonder if there is something wrong with the car or the equipment. The common method is to test it on another car.

Once you own a Godiag GT100, you can use it to connect with Launch thinkdiag mini. If the indicator light on the GT100 is on automatically when communication, that means thinkcar pro can communicate with the ECU. So you can determine that maybe the car’s interface communication line has a problem. It’s faster than change another car to test.

Reason 3: GODIAG GT100 can test why Thinkcar Pro cannot diagnose car

When you connect GODIAG GT100 to the thinkcar pro and the car, the indicator light is on, and you also know your car is CAN Protocol, but the Thincar pro apk only send a k-line data. If you have a GODIAG GT100 in hand, you can give feedback that there is something wrong with the application.

Reason 4: GODIAG GT100 has an extension cable for connection.

Some OBD ports of the vehicles are difficult to connect, and some customers will buy an extra extension cable to use. But if you have a GODIAG GT100, you can avoid this problem.

Besides that, some OBD2 ports of the vehicles have been changed and appear short circuit. If you connect Thinkcar pro with it directly, it will be burned.

GODIAG GT100 can prevent it from the damage. Use it to connect with the car firstly, if the indicator light will be on, that means the basic electrified line is fine, then you can connect with Thinkcar Pro to use.
