Purpose: Check if Vident iAuto702 Pro can reset oil service and battery for Jaguar XF 2010 or not
All need:
Car: 2010 Jaguar X250 XF (Engine: 3.0L AJ-V6)
Device: Vident iAuto702 Pro multi-application service tool
Test 1: iAuto702 Pro reset oil service light on 2010 Jaguar XF- success!
Connect iAuto 702 pro to the vehicle
Enter Application main menu -> Select OilReset V16.00
Read the Oil service light reset prompt:
1.If the service lamp is on, you must provide service for the car. After service, you need to reset the driving mileage or driving time so that the service lamp turns off and the system enables the new service cycle.
2.After changing engine oil or electric appliances that monitor oil life, you need to reset the service lamp.
Select JAGUAR-> Software Reset-> Automatic Scan
Switch on ignition, and read out the current vehicle info
Then follow the operator message on the screen to operate as below:
1.This application will reset the oil service counter. This needs to be used when a vehicle has been serviced.
2.Make sure the key is in the ignition barrel and the ignition is switched off
3.The following steps (1-5) must be completed within 3 seconds or the reset procedure will not start:
1).Press and hold the rear fog lamp switch (Ignition off)
2).Cycle the ignition from off to on
3).Release the rear fog lamp switch
4).Press and hold the ‘trip’ button
5).Whilst holding the ‘trip’ button, press and hold the rear fog lamp switch
Set ignition switch to off/on
Read fault codes
Clear fault codes
Set ignition switch to off/on
Control module procedure completed with fault codes logged
Test 2: iAuto702 Pro reset battery on 2010 Jaguar XF- success!
Back to Application main menu-> select BRT V16.00
Read the Battery reset instruction as below in the figure
Select Janguar-> Automatic Scan
Switch on ignition
Read out the current vehicle info
Press OK to reset stored internal battery monitoring data
Set the ignition switch to on (position 2)
Battery reset succeeded
