In this demonstration, KEYDIY KD-X4 and KD-X6 devices are used to identify a Mercedes-Benz 5F chip.
Steps for identifying chips with the KEYDIY KD-X4
Place the key into the sensing coil
Click [Chip Function] → Select [Automatic Detection Clone] → Under the chip type, select Mercedes-Benz Recognition → Click Start Identifying → Wait for the identification process to finish → Check the detected chip type.
After the identification is completed, KD-X4 key programmer recognizes the key chip as a Mercedes-Benz 5F chip.
Steps for identifying chips with the KEYDIY KD-X6
Place the key into the sensing coil.
Enter Chip Function.
Click [Automatic Detection Clone] → Select [Mercedes-Benz Recognition] → Click [Start Identifying]
Wait for the chip identification to complete.
KEYDIY KD-X6 also successfully identifies the chip as a Mercedes-Benz 5F chip.
