Here I’d like to share how I use Xhorse VVDI Mini key tool to generate Hyundai Verna smart key and program car key successfully by OBDSTAR X100 Pro.
I purchased vvdi mini key tool, xhorse universal smart key and x100 pro at cardiagtool.co.uk. They cost me 477euro with free shipping. I’m so lucky, the price of x-100 pro was 335 euro, but have been reduced on sales recently (only 185 euro).

I tried to test the two tools on my Verna
All the following tools I prepared firstly:
Original smart key
Xhorse universal smart key
VVDI mini key tool
OBDSTAR X100 pro
Mobile phone
Note: Pin code is required when match key to car. I have got the pin code from authorized Hyundai dealer
The relevant operation steps below, let’s go one by one.
Step 1: Generate smart key with vvdi mini key tool
Connect vvdi mini key tool with mobile phone via Bluetooth
Insert xhorse smart key into coil
Go to Xhorse App, and select “Vehicle Remote”-> “Hyundai” -> “Verna” -> “Verna 1V700 ID46”

Generate remote successfully
Remote control doesn’t work, so need to match it to the car.
Step 2: Program remote with OBDSTAR X-100 Pro
Connect x100 pro with my car via OBD socket
Turn on ignition switch
Go to x100 pro main menu
Select “Vehicles”-> “Immobilizer”-> “HYUNDAI”-> “HYUNDAI V30.49”-> “Select from type”-> “Smart key system”-> “Type 3 (without car slot)”
Follow the prompt to press start button and press “Enter” to continue
And then switch ignition off
Select “Program smart keys”
X100 Pro requires to enter PIN Code.
Note: The PIN Code can be obtained from authorized Hyundai dealer.
Put smart key vertically close to start button
Press start button for 5 seconds
Program success, press “Enter” to continue
After getting program success, press “Enter” and repeat the previous step for second key
Program success
Exit the system and check the smart key programmed or not
Test the remote control and start the car successfully
