Is it safe to use an extension cable to connect FoxFlash Main Unit and bench box, DB15 Male<>Female?

Not recommended.

If you have to, the extension cable should be as short as possible.

0.5 meter is the absolute Max length to use.

Why it is Not Safe?

The cable will introduce signal track inductance and signal deterioration between both connected devices

 

Any Convenience of an extension cable?

It will be much more safer with this extension when you work in the Engine bay.

Much safer, no direct pull on the connector with the weight of the bench box.
