The current car mileage is 101024 km
The position of the BDC anti-theft box is in the co-pilot position
FEM/BDC appearance
There is 95256 chips on the BDC module, which will be used during operaion
Connect the BDC module to the platform and follow the software prompts
Open CGDI BMW software
Select BMW key Match (OBD)-> FEM/BDC Key Match
Click View help
It prompts “The current FEM/BDC needs to update the ECU program before performing key matching. Please ensure that the car battery has enough power, please keep the equipment cable connection during the programming. Whether to continue?”
Click Yes
Select the second way to read EEPROM “
Use EEPROM adapter to read FEM/BDC 8-Pin chip data: Please remove the FEM/BDC from the car (must cut off power), and properly connect the adapters’ chip clip to the 95128/95256 chip of the FEM/BDC, then click the “Next” button”
Create a new folder to save the EEPROM data read out
Install the FEM/BDC into the car (The chip holder must be removed from the chip) and click “Next” button
Programming ECU…
Follow the prompt to select the second way to write EEPROM:
Use EEPROM adapter to write FEM/BDC 8-Pin chip data: Please remove the FEM/BDC from the car (must cut off power), and properly connect the adapters’ chip clip to the 95128/95256 chip of the FEM/BDC, then click the “Next” button”
If failed to write EEPROM data, follow the prompt of the software to check the connection between the adapter and the chip, then ensure that the device is connected to the 12V power supply. Then click Retry.
Remove the chip clip from the chip
Write data successfully
Coding succeed
Click Mileage Reset
A message appears “ The car mileage will be restored to 0”
Click OK to next step
CGDI BMW key programmer reset BDC anti-theft module mileage successfully
Now can change the meter mileage you want.
